No Expectations

So check it, I was looking in my inbox today. Looking for any kind of photos I might have already of C.Ray to post up here on this spanking brand *new site* and right when I was about to call it quits I found this Soca-Ragga track dated back early 2006 recorded with Jahn De Baptiste and Cosmos Ray dropping the science. Thinking back now I think C.Ray still had those monsta long iron core-locks, much like a Nubian Rapunzel on roids or something, haha.. Wait how long were those things anyway C.Ray?

So yeah, ah, I don’t exactly remember if this track was produced for some sort of album or what actually. Anyway I threw it in the ipod right before i jumped on the bike and headed northbound. I was coming towards this hill I normally try to avoid because of it’s one of those slow numbing gradual climb up numbers, which never seem to end, you know the one right? So right before I was going to do my usual devil winding detour, ‘No Expectations’ came on just like that. I don’t know why but I decided to straddled that bike close, low and feverishly. Then like a hurricane out of no where I went for that hill straight up like a mad suicidal commando. With a pure visceral conviction I took the words ‘No Expectations’ and molded the words into some sort of meme-mantra that I repeated over and over each stone that I crossed, and when I wasn’t lookin’ I conquered that shite in light speed. Well, haha, in pretty damn good time I must say at least. Anyway hope you enjoy the beats like I did today.
